The Summer Festival
On the last Saturday of August, Ben and Yui go to a neighbourhood summer festival in Asakusa, and Kenta brings Mike along. Say a summer kimono suits someone, share good news, talk about the portable shrine, the drums and the stalls, say what things look like, order festival food, try goldfish scooping, join the Bon dance, and find a friend lost in the crowd.

THE STORY
It's Saturday, August the twenty-ninth, the last weekend of the summer holidays, and the streets near the Hanaya in Asakusa are having their summer festival. Yui wears a summer kimono for the first time in Tokyo. Kenta brings Mike along, and neither of them has heard Ben's news yet. There's a portable shrine, drums, food stalls and the Bon dance. Ben tries goldfish scooping. It doesn't go well. And then Mike disappears into the crowd. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
