PART 3 · LESSON 30 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Fireworks Over the Sea
Ben's birthday was in June, but with the move and the exam nobody celebrated it. Three months late, on the night of the Kamakura fireworks, Riku saves the spot, Yui brings a present, and Ben looks back on a year and a bit in Japan. Wish someone a happy birthday, keep your age a secret, thank someone for doing something for you, say what you couldn't do back then and can do now, ask someone to stay with you, and review the whole level.

THE STORY
It's Saturday, September the nineteenth, the night of the Kamakura fireworks. Ben's birthday was in June, but this year, with the move and the exam, nobody celebrated it. So tonight is his birthday, three months late. Riku has saved them a spot on the beach, Yui has a present in her bag, and a year ago, Ben watched these same fireworks with only a few words of Japanese. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
