It's Tuesday morning, the fifteenth of December, four days before the wedding. Sarah and Julian take a bus to Tlaquepaque, the crafts town next to Guadalajara, a town of painted pottery, glassblowers and mariachis. Julian thinks the blender is present enough. Sarah drags him into a little workshop where a man is blowing a glowing ball of glass at the end of a long pipe, with hundreds of glasses on the shelves.
