PART 1 · LESSON 2 OF 30 · 38 MINUTES Free

Where Are You From?

At the desk of the hostel, Diego asks Sarah where she's from and whether she speaks Spanish, and one of his questions is much too fast for her. Then she learns the rule of the house, and Diego takes a key from the wall. Say where you're from, say you speak a little, and ask someone to slow down when you don't understand.

THE STORY

Sarah is inside Casa Carmen, at the desk, and Diego is checking her in. He wants to know more about his new guest. Then he asks a question that is much too fast for her, and Sarah uses the most useful sentences a beginner can know. When she asks Diego if he speaks English, she learns the rule of the house. Then Diego takes an old key from the wall, and has one last question for her. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
