PARTIE 2 · LEÇON 13 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES
Don't Look at the Clock
In September, Sarah is given a student of her own - Nerea, from Bilbao, on her first day on the ward - and hears Rosario's words coming out of her own mouth. Give instructions with every kind of command - stand here, don't touch anything yet, hold her hand, talk to her, don't look at the clock - get a student through her first birth, and give feedback the way Rosario did - how do you think you did, what would you change, well done.

L’HISTOIRE
It's Friday, September 15th, seven in the morning, on the maternity ward. It's the first day of the new course, and Sarah, who arrived a year ago knowing nothing, has been given a student. Nerea is twenty-two, from Bilbao, very tall, very nervous, and has never seen a birth. In room three, a woman is about to give birth. An hour later the baby arrives, and Nerea almost faints. Afterwards, in the staff room, Sarah asks the question Rosario always asked her. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
