L’HISTOIRE
It's Thursday, February 10th, the day the baby was due, and she's two days old. Valeria is home, on the sofa in Elena's living room, with the baby asleep on her chest. Diego has hardly slept since Monday. On Sunday night, Sarah told Valeria the story of Sister Isabel, the nun Julian found in the archives, who wanted a hospital for women giving birth in Oaxaca. Everyone has been asking the same question for two days, and this morning Valeria has an answer. At noon, Sarah calls Julian in Seville with the news. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
