Don't Touch Anything
Julian's first day at the Archive of the Indies, with Professor Ortega, and Sarah comes along before her afternoon shift on the ward. Learn to give orders to a group the Spain way - come in, sit down, look, put these on, call me, don't touch, don't sneeze - talk about old documents, gloves, dust and history, and say what you do over a small beer.

L’HISTOIRE
It's Wednesday, September 15th, nine in the morning. Sarah's shift on the ward starts at three in the afternoon, so this morning she has come with Julian. The Archive of the Indies is an old stone building next to the cathedral, with marble stairs and endless corridors of mahogany shelves. Professor Ortega, white beard and tweed jacket despite the heat, meets them at the door of the reading room, with a pair of white cotton gloves in each hand. At two, he takes them for a small beer behind the cathedral. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
