Peaches, Not Peaches
At the market in Triana, Sarah asks for fruit and vegetables with her Mexican words, and the stallholder has to translate. Shop at a Spanish market - who's next?, could you give me, half a kilo, how much are they?, that's all - pay and get your change, and learn Spain's words for peaches, green beans, peas, courgettes, beans and chillies.

L’HISTOIRE
It's Tuesday morning, September 21st. The market of Triana stands at the end of the bridge, on the ruins of an old castle, and smells of oranges, fish and coffee. Sarah and Julian stop at a fruit and vegetable stall piled high with tomatoes and peppers. Behind it, a woman with a pencil behind her ear is serving three customers at once. A few minutes later the bag is full, Julian is counting in pesos, and it's time to pay. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
