On a rainy Friday in May, Julian cooks mole for Sarah, with a little help from Elena on the phone, and finally asks her the question. L’HISTOIRE

It's Friday, the first of May, a holiday, and the first rains of the season have come to Oaxaca. Julian has invited Sarah to his flat for dinner - mole, which he made himself, with a little help from Elena on the phone. Rain is drumming on the roof, and he hasn't eaten a bite. Later, he walks her home, and Chayo hears them on the stairs. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
