PARTIE 1 · LEÇON 7 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES
Why Do You Talk Like That?
Five months in Seville have changed Sarah's Spanish. At her old juice stall in Oaxaca nobody understands her orange juice, and at lunch Don Roberto and Andres catch every Spain word she says. Say it slips out, I mean, no wonder, it comes out on its own, that was by accident and why do you talk like that?, and switch your Spanish back from Spain to Mexico - juice, car, glasses, mobile, the bus, and "you all".

L’HISTOIRE
It's Sunday, February 13th, at the Benito Juarez market in Oaxaca. Sarah and Elena are buying fruit for Valeria, and stop at the juice stall where Sarah had breakfast every Saturday until last summer. The juice seller remembers her face, but not her Spanish. At lunch at Elena's, Don Roberto and Andres, Valeria's brother, notice it too. Two days before, Sarah kept her promise to Julian and went to photograph the old convent, now a hotel. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
