PARTIE 2 · LEÇON 11 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES
Nothing's Going In
In March, Sarah starts studying for the national exam in earnest, with Nerea, in the university library - and it's not going well. Say how many have you done?, nothing's going in, I'm cramming, knuckle down, I'm up to my neck, this always comes up and learn it anyway, the way Spanish students talk about exams, and get through a mock exam.

L’HISTOIRE
It's Thursday, March 8th, 2029, ten in the morning, in the university library in Seville, an old tobacco factory with high ceilings and long wooden tables. The exam is in January, and it has a hundred topics. Sarah started nights on the ward a week ago, and now she has three nights off, so she's studying by day, the way Rosario told her to. Nerea, her student, has the same exam, so they study together, and Rosario is keeping an eye on them both from Cadiz. At eleven, Nerea has news about tomorrow, and that evening the last box of Rosario's notes is waiting at home. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
