PARTIE 1 · LEÇON 4 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES
It's a Girl!
On a stormy night in May, Sarah is alone on the late shift when a young woman arrives in labour, and the doctor is stuck in a flooded street. Sarah helps deliver her first baby, and calls Julian at two in the morning. Say "what" and "the one who" - what I need is, what I felt, you're the one who - and talk about breathing, pushing, contractions and a birth.

L’HISTOIRE
It's Wednesday, the thirteenth of May, ten at night. The rain is hammering on the clinic roof, and Sarah is on the late shift, alone. Someone bangs on the door. It's Rocio, nineteen years old, already in labour, with her mother. Sarah calls Doctor Ruiz, who is on her way but stuck in a flooded street. At two in the morning, Sarah calls Julian. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
