If You Tell Me to Breathe
Sarah makes it to Oaxaca, and two days later Valeria goes into labour, with Sarah holding one hand and Diego, very pale, holding the other. Make a warning with "if you" - if you tell me that again, if you faint - hear what changes in a delivery room between Spain and Mexico, and welcome a baby girl who takes a second to cry.

L’HISTOIRE
It's Tuesday, February 8th, three in the morning, in a hospital in Oaxaca. Valeria came home to her mother's to have the baby, and Sarah arrived two days ago, just in time. Valeria has been in labour for eleven hours. Diego is holding her hand and looks worse than she does. Doctor Salinas, the obstetrician Sarah worked with on her night shifts in Oaxaca, has just come in. An hour later, the baby is born. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
