PART 1 · LESSON 2 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES Free
Telling the Story
At Sunday lunch, Elena reads the news on Sarah's face, and by evening Valeria knows it too. Tell a story with three pasts - what was going on, what had happened before, and what happened next - and react to big news - I knew it!, I couldn't believe it, since when?

THE STORY
It's Sunday, the third of May. Sarah asked Julian not to tell Elena yet, and all Elena has heard from him is that the mole was delicious. At Sunday lunch at the blue house, Elena takes one look at Sarah's face and puts down her spoon. That evening, Sarah calls Valeria in Guadalajara, to tell her the news herself. She's too late. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
