PARTIE 2 · LEÇON 12 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES
Fill It Up
On the way to the beach at Progreso, Camila and Sarah stop at a petrol station, where the attendant fills the tank, shows them the pump starts at zero and gives them directions. Ask for a full tank, pay and tip, ask how to get somewhere by car, understand polite directions - keep going, take, turn, the motorway, the exit and the toll - and give them to a friend.

L’HISTOIRE
It's still Monday, November twenty-fourth, the afternoon of the day they rented the car. Camila is driving to the beach at Progreso, with Sarah beside her and Rosa's two hats on the back seat. The tank isn't quite full, whatever the agent said, so on the edge of Merida they pull into a petrol station. In Mexico, you don't fill your own tank. An attendant does it for you, and you leave a small tip. Then they drive on to the sea. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
