As regras são simples, anotar o que as pessoas fazem e quanto tempo ficam, sem nomes e sem chutar o porquê. Às seis, elas comparam os cadernos. Dever de casa até as cinco, uma mulher com o notebook na janela, um jornal em duas horas, e depois das cinco a sala meio vazia, como o Walter disse. A Ana conclui que ninguém lê mais ali, e a Emma pega o erro. Duas horas numa sexta não são uma semana.
