PART 1 · LESSON 10 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Aya's Lesson
On Saturday, Ben meets Aya, Mike's girlfriend and a teacher of Japanese, at a cafe near Ueno, for a lesson in the polite Japanese of business. Mike comes too, for the cake, and soon wishes he hadn't. Learn the humble verbs that lower yourself, moushimasu, orimasu, ukagaimasu and mairimasu, with Aya's one rule, and thank someone for teaching you (oshiete kudasatte). Then look back at everything from Part 1.
