PART 2 · LESSON 16 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
My Mistake
Wednesday morning at Sakura English. An email about the class schedule comes in, and Ben answers it in a hurry, plainly, as if to a friend. Then he sees he has sent it to everyone at Tsubame Travel, the president in Osaka included. Mister Fujita laughs. Mister Kimura doesn't. Learn a formal apology (moushiwake gozaimasen deshita, watakushi no fuchuui deshita), and humble actions with o- and shimasu (sugu ni, mou ichido ookuri shimasu).

THE STORY
Wednesday, March the eighth, twenty twenty-eight, ten in the morning. At Sakura English, Ben answers an email about the class schedule with a quick, plain OK, and sends it to everyone at Tsubame Travel, the president in Osaka included. Mister Kimura closes the office door. Ben phones Mister Fujita to apologise, and Mister Fujita can't stop laughing. Then Ben writes again, formally. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
