A Company Contract

Back at Sakura English, Mister Kimura asks Ben into the office and closes the door, and Ben is sure he's in trouble again. He isn't. The school has signed its first contract with a company, a travel company from Osaka, and its manager has asked for Ben. A client means polite language. Learn the respectful verbs that raise the person you're talking about, irassharu, ossharu and nasaru (osshatte imashita, irasshatta, dou nasaimasu ka).

THE STORY

Tuesday, January the eleventh, twenty twenty-eight. After the afternoon classes, Mister Kimura asks Ben into the office and closes the door, just as he did last May. Ben is sure he's done something wrong. But the news is good. Sakura English has signed its first contract with a company, and the manager has asked for Ben. That evening, Ben tells Yui, and Yui has an idea. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
