PART 1 · LESSON 5 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
A Parcel from Toronto
On Christmas Eve, a parcel comes from Ben's parents and his sister Emma, with maple syrup and two very warm coats, for Canada. After dinner Ben and Yui give each other their presents, and Yui's is something Ben has needed for a long time. Then it's breakfast time in Toronto, and Emma tries her Japanese on a video call. Learn kureru, morau and ageru, for what you give and what you get, seen from both sides, and with a verb before them (okutte kureta, erande kureta, tsukutte moratta).
