PART 3 · LESSON 22 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Don't Touch Them!
On a sunny Thursday in Bacalar, Camila keeps her promise and teaches Sarah to paddle a kayak. There are living rocks thousands of years old, a paddle in the water, and a swim. Give a friend instructions with commands and pronouns - put it on, hold it like this, don't touch them, don't let go, don't move - and talk about left, right and slowly.

THE STORY
It's Thursday, December eleventh, and the sun is out at last in Bacalar. Sarah and Camila have rented a yellow kayak for two hours. Camila grew up paddling on a river near Monterrey. Sarah has never been in a kayak in her life. At the edge of the water, Camila becomes the teacher. Out on the lagoon there are strange grey rocks, and Sarah's paddle ends up in the water. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
