PARTIE 1 · LEÇON 2 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES Gratuit
She Said She'd Call Every Day
Susan and Tom fly home to Chicago, and at the door to departures Susan has a few last instructions. At home, Daniel passes every one of them on to Bia. And at midnight, filling in a form for the American consulate, he reads Alice's birth certificate properly for the first time. Pass on what someone said, "she said she'd call every day", what they asked, "she asked if Alice had been to the doctor yet", and what they asked you to do.

L’HISTOIRE
Thursday the third of January, twenty thirty, seven in the evening, at Rio's international airport. Susan and Tom's flight home to Chicago leaves at ten. Bia has stayed at home with Alice, and Daniel has brought his parents in a taxi. At the door to departures, Susan has a few last instructions. At half past eight, at home, Bia wants to know everything she said. And at midnight, while Alice feeds, Daniel sits down at the kitchen table to fill in a form for the American consulate, with Alice's birth certificate beside the laptop. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
