PART 3 · LESSON 25 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
In Three Hours, I'll Have Said Yes
The morning of the wedding. The sky has cleared, Rafael brings Daniel's suit from the tailor, Carla brings Bia's shoes, the right cake arrives, and at two in the afternoon the best man has the rings. Say what you'll have done by a certain time, "in three hours, I'll have said yes", fix a tie, look after the rings, and hear an old piece of advice again.

THE STORY
Saturday, the wedding day. At ten in the morning the sky is blue, the grass is still wet, and the marquee is standing. Carla and Rafael drive up from the hotel in town with Daniel's suit and Bia's shoes, and the bakery van comes right behind them. At two in the afternoon, in a small room at the back of the farmhouse, Daniel is in his suit, looking at himself in a mirror, when Rafael, his best man, comes in without knocking. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
