PART 3 · LESSON 29 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Come Back Soon
The morning after the wedding. Daniel finally plays his two songs for Grandpa Zeca, and then Susan, Tom and Emily leave the farm, with Daniel and Bia driving them back to Rio. Thank someone for everything, say "it was an honour" and "the honour was mine", tell people to have a good trip and send news, invite them for Christmas, and say goodbye the way they do in Minas.

THE STORY
Sunday, eleven in the morning. Nobody went to bed before five. The suitcases are already in Daniel's car, and Daniel has come out onto the veranda with his country guitar, to play the two songs he never played at the party. At noon, Susan, Tom and Emily leave for Rio, and tomorrow, for Chicago. The whole family is at the gate. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
