When We've Finished, There's Pizza
Moving day, with Carla and Rafael to help, a sofa that doesn't fit in the lift, and Pipoca's first day with Dona Marta, who has never had a dog. Say "when we've finished", "when you've unpacked" and "as soon as the van has gone", label the boxes, carry things up eight floors, shout "careful!" at the right moment, and fetch a spoilt dog from downstairs.

THE STORY
Saturday the thirty-first of March, moving day, outside the building in Botafogo. A removal van is parked half on the pavement, with its back doors open. There are thirty-two boxes on the pavement, a bed, a fridge, and the new sofa Daniel and Bia bought on Wednesday. Carla and Rafael have come to help, in old T-shirts. Raimundo, the doorman, is holding the lift door open with his foot. And one floor below the new flat, Pipoca is spending the day with Dona Marta, who has never had a dog. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
