PART 3 · LESSON 30 OF 30 · 33 MINUTES
Twenty
Saturday the twenty-third of September, seven in the evening, the Hanaya's long table, a party for Sota's twentieth and Ben's exam. Sota turns twenty, and Ben pours him the beer he promised on New Year's Day. It is bitter. Then Kenta tells Ben that if he is going to say it, now is the time, and Ben stands up with his news for the whole table. Mike asks the one question nobody answers, Kenta tells the chopsticks story at last, Yui invites everyone to Kyoto, and Missus Sato says what the Hanaya is. On Sunday morning, Ben's last at the front desk, Kenta offers it to Natsuki. Learn to toast your big brother (oniisan, kanpai), to say everyone's like that at first (saisho wa, minna sou da yo), to tell a table you have news (minna, kiite. hanashi ga aru n da), to invite friends with if you come (Kyouto ni kitara, uchi ni tomatte ne), and to say come back any time (itsu demo, kaette kite kudasai). The end of Intermediate Level 3.
