PART 2 · LESSON 11 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
For the Children to Sleep
The first lesson of Part Two. Two daycares in one morning. A bilingual one, with a waiting list and fees of half the mortgage, and a small one two streets from home, with a garden, where Luana's Maria has been since February, and Cris shows them the nap room. Say what something is done for, the two ways, "we turn off the light for the children to sleep" and "so that they sleep", and ask what parents ask at a daycare.

THE STORY
Tuesday the ninth of April, twenty thirty. Daniel has taken the morning off, and he and Bia are visiting two daycares, with Alice in the pram. At nine, a bilingual one, in a big house behind a gate, where the director shows them round. At eleven, a small one two streets from home, with a garden and a mango tree, where Luana's daughter Maria has been since February. Cris, the teacher of the babies' room, opens the door of the nap room. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
