PART 2 · LESSON 15 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
Thinking About It
Bia goes back to work, at the kitchen table, with headphones. Her mother, here for the month, runs the house her own way, from naps to bottles, and at twelve Bia calls Daniel at the office, whispering. Daniel keeps the peace. Let the ongoing form stand for a whole clause, "thinking about it, your mother's right", "when I get home, I'll take over".

THE STORY
Monday the third of June, twenty thirty. Alice is six months old tomorrow, and today Bia goes back to work, at the kitchen table, with headphones. Her mother, Dona Rosa, came down from Belo Horizonte on Saturday, for the month, and she runs the house her own way. At twelve, Bia calls Daniel at the office, whispering. At seven, he comes home to take over. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
