PART 2 · LESSON 19 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
If It Weren't for You
Bia is in Sao Paulo for the week, her first trip since Alice was born. At eleven, the daycare calls Daniel at the office. The water has gone off, and every child has to go home by noon. At two, Daniel has a video meeting with Sao Paulo, and downstairs, Dona Marta has a cake in the oven. Say "if it weren't for you, I'd be lost", and "if you hadn't come, I'd be in a mess now".
