Quarta, dia 311, às três da tarde, na biblioteca. O Walter tenta lembrar quando ele e a Ruth chegaram aqui. Um emprego novo, um apartamento frio e um aniversário da Ruth não resolvem, e ele fica entre dois invernos. A Ana não pede uma data exata. À noite, a Carol mantém a lembrança dela, e aceita tirar a foto da moldura no dia seguinte.
