We've Just Landed

Eight days before Valeria's wedding, Sarah and Julian land in Guadalajara on the six o'clock flight, and Valeria takes them straight to eat the city's most famous sandwich. Say you've just done something, say someone did something again, say something took ages, and order a drowned sandwich, as spicy as you dare.

L’HISTOIRE

It's Friday, the eleventh of December, eight days before Valeria's wedding. The six o'clock flight from Oaxaca is on the ground in Guadalajara, and the sky is blue and cold. Julian has slept the whole way. At the arrivals gate, Valeria is jumping up and down with a sign that says Welcome, sponsors. An hour later, at a sandwich stall near the market, Julian says he can handle anything. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
