You Have to Be Clever
On a day trip to the town of Tequila, an old agave harvester shows Sarah, Julian and Diego how to tell when a plant is ready, and an old distillery shows them the rest. Use the two verbs for "to be" where they change the meaning - ready or clever, tasty or rich, bored or boring - compare things, say something is getting more and more expensive, and say no to a drink because you're driving.

L’HISTOIRE
It's Thursday, the seventeenth of December, two days before the wedding. Diego is so nervous that Valeria lends him her car and sends him out of the city with Sarah and Julian. An hour away, in the town of Tequila, the hills are covered in blue agave, row after row, all the way to the volcano, and an old harvester in a straw hat is cutting the leaves off a plant with a long, flat blade. In the afternoon, at an old distillery, there's a tasting, and Diego, who is driving, only drinks water. On the way back, the groom says he's less and less nervous. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
