The Apple of My Eye

In Manolo's bar, Curro stands up and announces what everyone has known for a year and a half - he and Emily are officially going out - and everyone has something to say about it. The next evening, Emily tells their father, who turns out to know more than she thought. Speak the language of a couple going public - about time, you could see it coming, careful with my sister, the apple of my eye, you make a lovely couple, you're drooling, you've gone red, you'll have me to deal with, the sooner the better - and of a half-truth found out - I already knew, your mother finds out everything, I've looked it up on the map.
