PARTIE 3 · LEÇON 22 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES
If I Went, If I Stayed
Sarah reads the notice about an exchange with a school of midwives in Seville, and on Sunday evening, in the garden of Santo Domingo, she tells Julian. Read a notice, ask how long someone has known, weigh up two futures, if I went, if I stayed, mix the ifs, if I hadn't met you, I wouldn't have to choose, and say what you're afraid of.

L’HISTOIRE
On Tuesday afternoon, Ivan shows Sarah the notice at her school. An exchange with a school of midwives in Seville, from September. On Sunday evening, after lunch with Julian's family in his village, Sarah and Julian sit on a bench in the garden in front of the old monastery of Santo Domingo, among the agaves. Sarah's notebook is open on her knees. On one page, she's written "If I go". On the other, "If I stay". This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
