The embassy's list

At the kitchen table Ben reads the embassy's page aloud in its written style: the documents required, eyes open and mouth closed for the photo, both parents in person in Tokyo; Yui plans the photo after a feed, and Ben phones the Hanaya for a room for three.

THE STORY

The kitchen table in the flat in the north of Kyoto, the embassy's page on the screen, Kenta on the phone at the end. Ben and Yui are plain with each other, and Ben is plain with Kenta.
