PART 1 · LESSON 5 OF 30 · 33 MINUTES
I'll Begin with the Team
Thursday the sixth of February, twenty thirty-one, the office by the river, Larissa's and Rodrigo's first week. At nine, by video to Sao Paulo and Rio, Daniel presents the plan for the opening on the tenth of March, with the signposts Larissa taught him the night before and Edson's phone counting the minutes. At lunch, pumpkin turns out to have a third name, the heat is "nice and cool" again, and Edson says a word about Daniel's Portuguese that Daniel takes for an insult until Larissa translates it. Carnival is in two weeks, and Edson's invitation isn't an invitation. Say "I'll begin by talking about the team", "moving on now to", "as you can see", "in short" and "to conclude".

Larissa and Rodrigo started on Monday, and at nine Daniel presents the plan for the opening to Sao Paulo and Rio, by video, in fifteen minutes. On Wednesday evening, Larissa stopped him after one sentence and taught him how a Brazilian presentation is signposted, while Edson counted the minutes on his phone. At noon, lunch at the counter on the corner, in thirty-four degrees. Carnival is in two weeks. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
