PART 3 · LESSON 23 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
What a Lot of People!
On Monday April 24th, Sarah's parents come back to Seville for the April Fair, and this time they bring her sister Emily, who learned her Spanish from videos made in Spain. Dad's old guidebook has the Fair on the wrong day, Mom has booked a hotel, and Encarna has already made a phone call. Exclaim the Spain way - what a lot of people!, how you've changed!, how tanned you are! - and welcome a family to Triana.

THE STORY
It's Monday April 24th, seven in the evening. A taxi from the airport stops in Pureza Street, and Sarah's mother, her father and her sister Emily get out, with four suitcases and a box of doughnuts from Boston for Encarna. The street is noisy, and the neighbours are trying on flamenco dresses on their balconies. Emily has never been to Spain. Dad's guidebook says one thing, Mom has booked a hotel, and Encarna has made a phone call of her own. Later, Emily sees Seville from the roof, Dad tries the Spain way of saying you all, and dinner is at ten. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
