PART 3 · LESSON 23 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Do You Remember Me?
On Saturday morning in Puerto Escondido, Sarah goes looking for Mateo, who taught her to surf a year ago, and finds him teaching a class on the beach. Ask if someone remembers you, say what someone couldn't do a year ago and what they used to tell you, say they've changed, ask how someone ended up somewhere, give news of a wedding and a baby, and tell the long story of a year.

THE STORY
It's Saturday, the fifteenth of August, in Puerto Escondido. Julian said they'd be on the beach at seven, but at half past eight they're still having breakfast, and Sarah asks Don Chuy about a surf teacher called Mateo. An hour later, in a little bay where beginners learn to surf, the sand is already hot, and a teacher in a red cap is shouting at his students. Sarah knows that voice. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
