PART 3 · LESSON 25 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Questions from the Floor
The Nun and the Widow is launched at the Archive of the Indies, on Professor Ortega's last day, with Pablo on crutches in the front row. Speak the language of a public talk - first of all, I want to thank, don't listen to him, we'll now take questions, what was the hardest part, will there be a sequel - answer a difficult question with grace, and say goodbye to a long career. And at the signing table, Encarna finds a surprise in the dedication.

THE STORY
It's Tuesday, June 12th, 2029, seven in the evening, in a hall of the Archive of the Indies, under a painted ceiling. There are a hundred chairs, and all of them are taken. In the front row are Sarah, Encarna, Lucia, and Pablo with his crutches. Behind them, students, historians, and half of Manolo's bar. On a table at the front, a pile of new books, with Sister Isabel's letter on the cover and the title in cochineal red. It's Professor Ortega's last day. The publisher taps the microphone. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
