THE STORY

It's Monday afternoon, the fourteenth of December. Sarah, Julian and Valeria have been waiting at the bus station for forty minutes, and Diego doesn't answer his phone. At last the bus from Mexico City pulls in, and Diego gets off with three suitcases and a small, fierce woman in a black shawl. It's his grandmother, Dona Carmen, who owns the hostel where Sarah spent her very first night in Mexico. She spots Sarah from across the platform. That evening, at Valeria's flat, she meets Elena at last. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
