PART 3 · LESSON 24 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Better Safe Than Sorry
Three in the morning in A and E, and Sarah is on triage when Curro brings in the groom from his second stag night, thirteen days before the wedding. Speak the language of an emergency - what's happened, who's hurt, from one to ten, it's a sprain, it's not broken, ice and rest, we'll see - and tell someone off when the bride arrives.

THE STORY
It's Thursday, June 7th, 2029, three in the morning, in A and E. They are short of nurses this week, so Sarah is covering night shifts here, on triage, deciding who goes first. The waiting room is full - a cut finger, a fever, a man who swallowed something he shouldn't have. Then the doors open, and in comes Curro, holding up Pablo, who is wearing a plastic crown and only one shoe. Pablo's stag night was two weeks ago. The wedding is in thirteen days. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
