PART 1 · LESSON 10 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
An Email from Seville
The morning after the wedding, Valeria's flat smells of chilaquiles, Diego is singing in the shower for the third time, and Julian reads an email that turns him pale. Then the family comes back for the leftovers, Valeria's photos bring back the whole week, Chivas and America play the second leg of the final, and on the plane home, nobody knows what happens next. Say you've just received news, that you applied before something happened, ask why someone didn't tell you, what if, and when they'd go, and look back over the whole first part of this level.

THE STORY
It's Sunday, the day after the wedding, nearly noon. Valeria's flat smells of coffee and chilaquiles, and everyone is still in pyjamas. From the bathroom, Diego is singing Cielito Lindo, for the third time. At the table by the window, Julian is checking his phone. Suddenly he stops eating, and reads the same email three times. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
