PART 3 · LESSON 21 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Each to Their Own
Two weeks before the book goes to the printer, the publisher shows Julian, Ortega and Sarah three covers for The Nun and the Widow, and everyone has an opinion. That evening, Encarna has hers. Give opinions with nuance - it's not bad, but; it doesn't convince me; it's a bit dull; well, it does have a bit of; it's missing something; each to their own - find the one detail that makes it right, and settle for what you get.

THE STORY
It's Friday, May 4th, 2029, eleven in the morning, at the publishing house. On the big table there are three covers for The Nun and the Widow, printed on thick paper. The book goes to the printer in two weeks. Julian and Ortega have brought Sarah, because, Ortega says, she has the best taste of the three of them. The publisher folds her arms and waits. That evening, the new cover comes through on Julian's phone, and Encarna puts on her glasses. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
