PART 1 · LESSON 9 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Even If You Step on My Feet
At the wedding party, in a garden full of paper lanterns, the sponsors are called to the waltz, and Julian holds out his hand. Three months of secret classes later, he dances, and he dances well. Then Diego takes the microphone and sings to his wife, in tune, and at two in the morning the glasses from the crafts town come out of their box at last. Say however much, even if and believe it or not, ask someone to dance, sing to someone, and join in the snake of the sea.

THE STORY
It's ten o'clock on Saturday night, in a garden full of paper lanterns. Three hundred guests, a mariachi band in silver-buttoned suits, and a dance floor under the trees. Valeria and Diego have danced their waltz, and now the sponsors are called to join them. Julian stands up, straightens his too-small suit, and holds out his hand to Sarah. Later, Diego takes the microphone, and at two in the morning, Sarah brings out a box. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
