PART 1 · LESSON 4 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
We don't need to fix everything
Sam wants to take advantage of the project to fix everything that's bothering the library, and Ana learns how to say what's in and out of scope without arguing. Say, "as long as we're doing this the Wi-Fi password should also be on the sign," "that's within scope, it's communication," "it's communication about the Wi-Fi, not about the room," "what about the broken printer people ask about it all day," "that's out of scope let's set that aside for now," "set it aside where," "on a list with your name next to it," "so it doesn't get lost," "so it doesn't get lost and so it doesn't swallow up the project."
