PART 2 · LESSON 17 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
Translate the proposal's intent
The Portuguese-speaking volunteers made a suggestion with a caveat, and Ana learns to convey the proposal and caveat together in English and to ask both sides to validate the mediation. Say what the volunteers suggested, their suggestion is to open the Saturday session half an hour earlier with the caveat that no one needs to arrive before nine, so the session starts at eight thirty, it starts for whoever wants to at eight thirty the main part is still at nine, is that a suggestion or a condition, it's a suggestion with a condition inside, would it be fair to summarize their position as earlier for whoever wants same time for everyone, it would, so I can work with that, I'm going to tell them that just like that.
