PART 2 · LESSON 12 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
The numbers don't tell the whole story
Sam announces more sign-ups and Emma saw the room half empty, and Ana learns to limit what a number allows one to conclude and to name the missing information before concluding. Say sign-ups went up thirty percent, and the room was half empty on Saturday, an increase in sign-ups doesn't necessarily mean more people in the room, it should, it should but it didn't we'd need to know who signed up and didn't come before concluding anything, I have the list almost all new names, so new people sign up and don't show, why, that's the question the number was never the answer, I'll call five of them.
