PART 3 · LESSON 21 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
Disagree without disputing the story
After a story in the square, Luis and Grace differ on the image of the neighborhood it conveys, and Ana learns to contrast lived experiences with boundaries and ask what exactly is being disagreed on. Say that story makes the neighborhood sound like a village, it was a village, that hasn't been my experience though nobody left bread at my door, are we disagreeing about the story or about the neighborhood today, about today the story is true, the story is true today is different, so you agree about the story and disagree about today, fair, someone could still leave bread, Grace I think that was for you.
