PART 1 · LESSON 3 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
An invitation without pressure
Ana invites Rosa, a library regular with a good story, to tell it at a circle, and learns to check willingness without assuming and make it explicit that there is no pressure. Say Rosa your story about the bakery would you feel comfortable telling it to a group, how big a group, twelve people maybe fifteen neighbors, I've never spoken in front of people, there's no pressure to decide today, and if I start and can't finish, then I ask the next question and nobody minds, you'd be sitting next to me, the whole time, then ask me again on Monday.
