On the porch of the farm, Grandpa Zeca tells Daniel about the coffee trees he planted as a boy, and what he's afraid of. Say I planted every coffee tree there, I'd never said this to anyone, I'm afraid they'll sell the farm when I'm gone, and it depends more than you think.

THE STORY

Late in the afternoon on the porch of the family farm in Minas, Grandpa Zeca, who is home from the hospital, has Daniel sit beside him and tells him what is on his mind.
